MLB's TV Show - Phil Plait's Bad Universe Part 2 Airs in 13 days!

In case some of you don't know, MLB is Phil Plait, the creator of  Bad Astronomy, the 2nd-most popular science blog on all the 'Net. His newest accomplishment is the creation of a science TV show, the first episode of which debuted earlier this month.  I am excited to say that the next episode of  Phil Plait's Bad Universe will air in the U.S. on October 6th at 10:00PM on The Discovery Channel.  His lead-in is none other than Mythbusters at 9:00PM!  How cool is THAT?

Phil's announcement of the air date can be found here.  A snippet of his comments:

"Episode 2 is called "Alien Attack!", and is my take on whether aliens are out there and whether we should worry about being invaded. If you’ve read my book you have an idea about this already, but there’re some very cool things we did in this episode, including one or two I’m still rather amazed by."

Phil is very entertaining, and his presentation of physics, astronomy, and chemistry is approachable.  No matter the level of your science knowledge, you'll understand what he has to say.  He's fun to watch, and it is very clear he is one of the world's biggest geeks.

While the first episode aired earlier this month, it is not yet scheduled for replay.  I give you the initial preview of the first episode:

You can see other previews (postviews?) here.

So, if you aren't out partying that night, or even if you are, set your DVR for 10:00PM on October 6th.  Target: The Discovery Channel.  You don't want to miss the next exciting episode of
