Mandate just sent me news that Waste Management and Sony are sponsoring a free electronics drop-off at Turner Field in downtown Atlanta this Saturday!  Sony sponsors e-cycling all over the place.  They have a link on their site for their general program.  Oddly enough, I could find no reference to this particular event on the WM site, so here are the details:

They accept:

  • TVs
  • Computer Monitors
  • CPUs and Peripherals
  • Scanners
  • Printers
  • Fax Machines
  • Ink Jet and Printer Cartridges
  • Stereo Equipme nt
  • VCRs
  • Phones (including cellular)
  • Rechargeable Batteries (NiCad, NiMH, Lilion and small sealed lead)

They DO NOT accept:

  • Microwaves
  • Smoke Detectors
  • Household Appliances like Refrigerators, Washing Machines and Air Conditioners

They are open from 9 - 4PM Saturday, Nov 22, 2008.

Turner Field is located at:

755 Hank Aaron Dr.

Atlanta, GA 30315
