I have been an advocate of disposing of computers and all electronic equipment in a green fashion for many years.  I have also been a strong proponent for human recycling of computers, meaning that if a computer still has good life in it (the factors vary as to how that decision is made), maybe it should be given to someone that can use it that otherwise wouldn't be able to get a computer.  However, up until a few moments ago, I was not aware of how vital to our health recycling of electronics truly is (and how bad it might be to someone else).
